Massive Dynamic Interior Design Ltd presents a unique residential house design that embraces simplicity and harmony with the natural environment. With a large garden as its centerpiece, this design offers a serene and refreshing living experience. The use of a glass corridor maximizes space utilization, connecting the dining room, master room, and garden seamlessly through movable sliding doors.
Measuring 580 square feet of useful area, this residential house boasts a garden space of 1,100 square feet. The design team, led by Chief Designer Ham Kwok Fung and Designer Suen On Tin, carefully considered the lifestyle of the homeowners and incorporated various elements to enhance their daily routines.
Upon waking up, residents can stretch their muscles in the expansive garden and enjoy a rich breakfast in the glass house. The garden also serves as a versatile space for dining, playing with pets, or simply appreciating the beauty of nature. This design encourages a peaceful and relaxed start to the day.
The design team faced the challenge of reorganizing the interval to allocate half of the long hall area to an open kitchen. This modification created a Nakashima bar counter, perfect for light meals throughout the day. Additionally, the movable folding doors create a large guest area by combining the indoor dining space with the L-shaped outdoor sofas.
The interior of the house features a cohesive design, with cement-textured floor tiles and wooden finishes behind dark doors. The living room is adorned with yellow fabric cushions, adding a touch of vibrancy to the space. The overall aesthetic reflects the simplicity and individuality of the homeowners.
Massive Dynamic Interior Design Ltd utilized a combination of materials, including iron, mud brick, wood, formica, and vinyl tile, to bring this design to life. The furniture was exclusively provided by the design team, while the wallpaper was sourced from Tat Ming Wallpaper and the paint from Nippon Paint. The audiovisual equipment includes brands such as Bose and Sony.
This exceptional residential house design by Massive Dynamic Interior Design Ltd was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2020 for its well-designed, practical, and innovative characteristics. It meets professional and industrial requirements, integrating industry best practices and competent technical features. The design provides fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
